As prices retreat, high-yield wheat becomes more important

Agronomist Paul Bodenstine says there’s one main reason to grow wheat in the South – cash flow in July. The trick is to maximize the amount of cash flow at a time when the long-term trend for wheat prices is down. Bodenstine talked about his philosophy of growing wheat during a session at the AgVenture Field Day in Clarksdale, Miss.
