Soy urinals relieve environment

It Seems like everywhere you look, there is a new use for soybeans. Now, you may even see a new use for soy in some restrooms. A company called Waterless has developed a urinal containing approximately 25 percent to 30 percent soy resin. The soy resin was supplied by Ashland, Inc., and was developed with initial funding from the United Soybean Board (USB) and soybean checkoff.

Checkoff farmer-leaders have funded several research projects that utilize soy through resins and flexible foams. But a soy resin isn't the only way this urinal is renewable — it also utilizes a no-water flush system.
