Cargill breaks ground for new West Memphis, Ark., facility

Any construction project has challenges, but when you’re building a $45-million grain handling and shipping facility alongside the Mississippi River the challenges get very big. That’s what Cargill and its contractors are facing as they build a new facility just south of the Port of West Memphis, Ark. Cargill AgHorizon’s John Schmidt discussed the work and the potential completion date during a ground-breaking ceremony for the new facility.
