Market price considerations for week of March 27, 2017

Equity and commodity markets are repositioning after an eventful first quarter.

Given bearish fundamentals for many commodities this ongoing repositioning and corrective activity of the U.S. equity markets is presently weighing heavy on many of the commodity markets like oil, rice, soybeans, corn, wheat and to a lesser extent cotton, says Dr. Coats, professor of agricultural economics and agribusiness with the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture.

A detailed analysis is included in the attached charts.
