Planting mixes may be key to success with cover crops

By now, most farmers have seen pictures of giant tillage radishes working their way down into the soil. The pictures have helped dramatize the importance of cover crops. But tillage radishes – especially radishes the size of the ones in the photos – aren’t the whole story when it comes to cover crops as Cover Crop Solutions’ Konrad Martin and Jay Lapp explained in this video from a field day at the Memphis, Tenn., Agricenter.
