Gowan's Permit herbicide receives local needs label

Permit has received a special local needs label in Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas for preplant or at-planting burndown in rice for control of annual broadleaf weeds and nutsedge.

Applications of Permit herbicide may be applied for burndown of emerged weeds before planting, or at planting of rice.

Permit herbicide offers control of other aquatic and broadleaf weeds including hemp sesbania, jointvetch, and dayflower. Permit has a wide application window and can be applied from preplant burndown, pre-emergence, and post-emergence up to 48 days prior to harvest.

According to Gowan Company, Permit has excellent crop safety, low use rates and low cost per application.
