Gowan markets Permit herbicide

Gowan Company announces Permit herbicide as the newest addition to its crop protection portfolio. A familiar brand name with excellent crop safety, Permit herbicide controls damaging broadleaf weeds and delivers unsurpassed control of nutsedge.

Permit herbicide is registered on field corn, pop corn, sweet corn, rice, grain sorghum, dry beans, fallow ground and cotton (except in California).

Permit is a selective herbicide known for outstanding postemergent control of tough broadleaf weeds and nutsedge in rice, corn and grain sorghum. Permit can also now be used as a pre-emergent application on dry beans, a post-directed spray on cotton, and it has the flexibility of being used until permanent flood is established on rice.

Permit's rates range from 0.5 ounce to 1.5 ounces per acre with the typical use rate of 0.67 ounce to 1 ounce.
