‘Regulation by litigation’ gaining favor among environmentalists

‘Regulation by Litigation’ is not a new tactic, according to the University of Arkansas’ Harrison Pittman, but it’s one being used increasingly and more creatively by environmental activist groups. On top of their other attributes, the groups display a significant amount of animosity to production agriculture, says Pittman. He was a speaker at the Agricultural Council of Arkansas’ spring board of directors meeting in Pickens, Ark.
