Field days highlight Arkansas research, Extension programs

UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS Division of Agriculture research and Extension programs will be highlighted at field days in August.

New varieties, pest and weed control, crop management and other projects for rice, soybeans, cotton, corn and grain sorghum will be the subjects of tours, presentations and exhibits at three field days in eastern Arkansas.

A field day at the Rice Research and Extension Center near Stuttgart, Ark., begins at 7 a.m. Aug. 14. For information, call 870-673-2661.

A field day at the Northeast Research and Extension Center at Keiser, Ark., begins at 8:30 a.m. Aug. 21. Call 870-526-2199 for information.
