Tracking PET can help enhance cotton irrigation efficiency: Part V

Sometimes it pays to get lucky. Bob Glodt gave an example of how his growers track potential evapo-transpiration to get better use out of irrigation water. The growers watched water demand  build during the bloom period in their cotton fields. They were about to begin irrigating at the 1.25 mark when they received a .75-inch rain. Glodt described the experience during the Consultants Conference at the 2015 Beltwide in San Antonio.
