Part IV: Reclaiming the market for U.S. cotton

Cotton farmers in Australia and the United States use some of the same production practices and face some of the same issues. So it was only natural their organizations would come together to try to address those. The Cotton LEADS program they started has now signed up 260 retail outlets as partners with the programs and is working with other nongovernmental organizations to improve the environmental reputation of cotton. That’s one of many things Cotton Incorporated is working on to reclaim the market for cotton, according to CI’s Berrye Worsham.
