O.A. Cleveland to lead Ag Market Network discussion

Cotton market analyst O.A. Cleveland to discuss latest USDA crop production and supply and demand numbers during Ag Market Network teleconference call at 7:30 a.m. Monday.

O.A. Cleveland, cotton analyst and professor emeritus at Mississippi State University, will be the guest speaker at the monthly Ag Market Network cotton market teleconference call at 7:30 a.m. on Monday (Dec. 12).

Dr. Cleveland will discuss the latest USDA crop production report and World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates along with providing an assessment of the likelihood of cotton prices moving higher.

Joining Dr. Cleveland will be a marketing panel comprised of Jarral Neeper, president, Calcot, Ltd.; Dr. John Robinson, professor and Extension specialist/cotton marketing at Texas A & M University; Kip Butts, senior cotton analyst and director of energy services with Informa Economics; and Patrick McClatchy, executive director, Ag Market Network.

They will report on and discuss the latest developments in global cotton production, crop conditions, domestic demand, exports, and government policy.
