Higher quality cotton is a must for U.S. cotton industry: Part II

Fred Bourland says producing higher quality fiber is imperative for the future of U.S. cotton producers. Dr. Bourland is doing his part, having released 83 germplasm lines and four varieties over 30 years with the University of Arkansas. He talked about his work during a briefing for growers from Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas during a Producer Information Exchange stop at the University's Lon Mann Research Station in Marianna, Ark.
