Double-crop wheat and cotton showing promise – in some situations

Mid-South farmers have been double-cropping wheat and soybeans for decades but have had little experience with wheat and cotton. Monsanto asked Cresco Ag to look at the potential practice on farms across the Mid-South in 2011. Brian Fyfe managed one of those 38 locations and talked about his experience at a media briefing at the Mid-South Farm and Gin Show in Memphis, Tenn.
