Cooperation may be part of key to pollinator puzzle

Environmental activists keep demanding the EPA withdraw registrations for some pesticides because of declines in bee populations. They cite little evidence of negative effects, but the demands still draw attention in the popular press. Scientists like Tennessee’s Scott Stewart are studying the issue. Meanwhile, Stewart also provided growers with some tips on how to lessen pesticide exposure for bees. He spoke at the 2014 Cotton Tour at the West Tennessee Research and Education Center in Jackson.
