‘Turnaround Tuesday taking toll on trading: Part III

To find a time when Arkansas producers planted more grain sorghum than cotton you have to go back to the 1980s. History may repeat itself in 2015 because of the high basis being offered for milo this spring, according to the University of Arkansas’ Scott Stiles. Stiles urged growers attending the Agricultural Council of Arkansas’ board of directors meeting to lock in the basis on the crop “before it gets any weaker.”
