The conference “will bring together Mid-South farmers and various market leaders, to focus on market outlook and marketing issues of great interest to the agricultural community,” says Pat McClatchy, executive director, Ag Market Network, Rosenthal Collins Group.
Crop insurance agent Michael Bernard will discuss 2004 crop insurance changes and opportunities; Marianna, Ark., farmer and ginner Larry McClendon will focus on marketing in today’s agricultural environment; and Joe Victor, Allendale, Inc., will provide a grain and oilseeds outlook.
After lunch, Ed Jernigan, The Jernigan Group, will discuss marketing quality cotton in the global market place. Joe Nicosia, CEO, Allenberg Cotton Co., in Memphis, will provide a cotton outlook to close the conference.
