Sometimes a new product doesn’t quite fit into a category. Just because it might be a square peg and you don’t have any round holes to slide it into doesn’t mean it isn’t useful. It may mean a company has come up with a product so innovative that no one else has developed it yet — or even realized the need for it.

That’s why you may want to see what US Farm Innovation is up to with its glass guard product for equipment windshields, or why A&I is offering a new line of tractor canopies.

If you are an irrigator, several of the products in this slideshow might be of special interest to you, including a new stationary irrigation engine from Anderson. It joins a market that includes other stationary engines designed specifically for uses like powering irrigation systems. There is also a new irrigation control panel from Murphy, plus an irrigation flowmeter unveiled for the first time by McCrometer.

If your problem is wet soils, not dry ones, Timewell has a new tile design worth a look. Timewell has provided several innovative concepts in tile installation, including the concept of running smaller lines at narrower distances to help provide more even drainage at a price that is still affordable.

Summers introduces a product that not many have thought of, or at least not many have taken to the product stage. It’s designed to fill in and help heal wheel tracks, such as combine tracks after running in a fall when you can’t help but leave deeper tracks than you like. This machine can be set to close tracks of different wheel spacing as well.
