What does it take to grow 100-bushel soybeans?

Perry Galloway says it takes surprisingly small amounts of some nutrients to grow 100-bushel soybeans.

The key is availability of those nutrients. Galloway, who harvested 108 bushels in the Arkansas soybean industry’s Grow for the Green Challenge in 2015, talked about the quest for higher yields at the Mississippi Soybean Forum in Stoneville, Miss., Monday (Nov. 14).

The Forum, sponsored by the Mississippi Soybean Promotion Board and conducted by the Mississippi Soybean Association, was held at the Capps Center at the Delta Research and Extension Center, Stoneville, Miss., and attended by more than 60 farmers.
