MAEA meeting June 24-25

THE MISSISSIPPI Agricultural Economics Association will hold its 30th annual meeting June 24-25 at Mississippi State University. Features of the meeting include:

  • Bill Gillon, attorney with Butler Snow, outside counsel to National Cotton Council, Brazilian case in the WTO.

  • David Graves, government relations team, McLeod, Watkinson & Miller, Washington perspective on trade issues.

  • John Anderson, assistant Extension professor, Department of Agricultural Economics, Mississippi State University, Country of Origin Labeling.

  • Jim Willis, president of international operations, US Rice Producers Association, rice industry trade issues.
