They’ve begun the murder trial in western Tennessee for man accused in murder of Holly Bobo six years ago. Mom broke down when asked to describe contents of sandwich she made for daughter on day she was abducted. Bobo was 20 when she was drugged, raped and shot.

They said it would never last – irrigated farm show began in 1978. Nebraska Farmer magazine affiliated with show. Sunny skies with highs in upper 80s for rest of the show.

Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood will perform an unprecedented 9 shows in Sioux Falls over the next two weeks. 108,000 concert ticket holders. Economic shot in arm in tens of millions.

In UP of Michigan, there’s a lodge for sale that was built with federal aid during Great Depression. The property includes land, rooms, a 9-hole golf course and string of cabins. When built in Depression, the idea was to stimulate the local economy. It’s now difficult to maintain and keep up. There’s a $1.5 million offer for the Keweenaw Mountain Lodge so far.
